Schools in Middleburg, Florida

Middleburg has grown fast along Blanding Boulevard and County Road 218 while keeping large stretches of genuinely rural land. The schools reflect both.

Clay County District Schools · Florida Department of Education 2024-25 file, snapshot dated 30 June 2026 · attendance zones must be checked address by address

Middleburg covers a lot of ground for a place without its own city government. An address on the 218 corridor and an address deep off Green Road are both Middleburg, and they can sit in different school zones with a fifteen-minute difference in the morning run.

I have listed homes on both sides of that divide, and the school question is nearly always the one that decides between two otherwise similar houses. So here is the state's own record of every public school carrying a Middleburg address, with the details you would otherwise have to chase across five websites.

One caution specific to Middleburg: new construction here has outpaced school capacity more than once, and the district has responded by moving lines. A zone that held last year is not a promise for next year. Confirm before you commit.

Read this before you shortlist a house on schools

This page lists schools by where the school building is, not by which homes it serves. Attendance zones are drawn by the school district, they are redrawn from time to time, and two houses on the same street can sit in different zones.

  • Confirm the current zone for the exact address with the school district before you make an offer: Clay County District Schools.
  • Magnet, charter, choice, virtual and private schools do not follow the residential zone at all — each has its own application and eligibility rules.
  • Learning-gains percentages are a single year from one state dataset. They are not a school grade and they are not advice.

Fair-housing note: schools are described here in factual terms only. Choosing where to live is yours to make.

Elementary schools

Middleburg's elementary campuses draw from a wide rural catchment, so bus rides can be long even when the mileage looks short.
